Short story: There’s always a dragon

Written in the white heat of the MA – massive thanks to Jupiter Jones for keeping me writing and embracing the dragon.

It went through a few re-writes (change of tense and title as I recall). The brilliant Lindz McLeod then said it was ready and suggested some places for it to go and I sold it to Kaleidotrope (brilliant Mag you should definitely subscribe) in 2022. Funny to see it now – there’s things I love and things I’d change. But I would be delighted if you’d read it.
