Delighted to be on this shortlist. This competition is dear to my heart, having placed in it this time last year. I know the readers and the judges are top notch (and the organiser, Audrey, too) so it’s very heartwarming to think they liked my story. It also attracts some tip-top writers … again, my ego is stoked.
